DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS

Where certification as a prior level is required, only certificates bearing a ProBoard or IFSAC seal will be accepted. Certifications issued by accredited entities will be honored as prerequisites, but we do not issue Alabama certificates at the levels you currently hold.
 
* does not require HazMat A&O Certification, but rather documented proof of training received. Documented proof can be one of the following:
  - record of training agency, employer, or instructor
- certificate of attendance
- Signed AFC Documentation Form
 
** or equivalent. Equivalent is defined as any training course that taught the following standards. Documented proof required, see above*.
  - Identifying needed resources - Sizing up a rescue incident
- Managing incident hazards and risks
- Managing resources on a rescue incident scene
- Conducting a search
- Performing ground support operations for helicopter activities
- Terminating the incident
- Accessing a victim, including airborne and bloodborne pathogens
- Stabilizing the victim
- Triaging victims
- Packaging an ill or injured victim
- Moving a victim in a low-angle environment
- Transferring a victim to emergency medical services (EMS)
- Inspecting and maintaining hazard-specific PPE
- Inspecting and maintaining rescue equipment
- Tying knots, bends and hitches with ropes and webbing
- Constructing a single-point anchor system
- Constructing a rope mechanical advantage system
- Directing a team in the operation of the system
- Constructing a lowering system
- Directing lowering operations
- Constructing a belay system
- Operating  belay systems
