Rapid Intervention Teams

This three-day course familiarizes students with the rapid intervention team concept and gives them the tools to develop or enhance rapid intervention team programs. Rapid intervention should be considered by any emergency response organization whose personnel enter environments that can place their lives and health in immediate danger. All emergency responders and personnel who may act as incident commanders at emergency incidents should be familiar with rapid intervention concepts so they can effectively use this risk management tool.

Special Equipment - NFPA compliant turn-out gear, SCBA with spare bottle, Hard Hat, PASS device, Gloves, and Knee pads & elbow pads (optional)
