Field Delivery
 The primary mission of the Field Training Programs is to facilitate quality fire and emergency service training for the Alabama fire service and its allied professions.
So You Want to Be a Volunteer Fire Fighter It takes a special person to fill the boots of a volunteer fire fighter. Someone with a desire to do something important for the community. Someone with courage and dedication, who isn't afraid of hard work, and is willing to accept the challenge of a difficult job. It takes a person who considers respect and appreciation reward enough.
But to be a volunteer fire fighter, you'll need more than just a desire to help people. You'll also need courage and dedication, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn new skills and face new challenges. If you think you qualify for this kind of job, contact you local volunteer fire department.
